“Mr. OJ”. I am the only teacher working in 大阪女学院中学, 大阪女学院高校, 大阪女学院短期大学 and大阪女学院大学. I love OJ! Originally from Toronto Canada, I graduated from university in California. I love to travel and my passion is sports.

I spent my childhood in Sri Lanka, my teens and 20’s in the United Kingdom and most of my working life teaching English in Japan. I have experienced and learned much from living in these three very diverse cultures. As a result, I have a wide range of interests. I also love learning and strongly believe in continuing to change and grow through lifetime education. As the famous playwright George Bernard Shaw said, “Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself”.

韓国で2006年から大学の語学堂で5年以上韓国語教育に携わり、2012年からは日本で韓国語を教えています。大学では日語日文を専攻しましたが、大学院で外国人のための韓国語教育を専攻し、韓国語教員1級資格を取得して一途に韓国語教育に努めてきました。大学では日本語の他に中国語を勉強した経験もあるので言葉を勉強する皆さんの悩みやニーズがよく分かります。日本語と韓国語を比べながらわかりやすく、納得できる授業を目指しています。最近は発音やイントネーションにも力を入れていますのでより確実で楽しい、使える韓国語が学びたい皆さん、ぜひご一緒ください。

私はソウル出身の韓国人です。韓国で社会人生活をした後、2005年から日本で韓国語を教えています。韓国語教師として勤めながら、日本の大学院で外国語教育学を研究しました。いつも学生が楽しく参加できることを心掛け、授業の内容も工夫しています。一緒に韓国語を楽しく勉強しましょう！みなさんにお会いできる日を楽しみにしています。
